25th edition of the Jewish General Hospital Jazz Festival:

Music for healing

Everyone is invited to the 25th Jewish General Hospital Jazz Festival, an event to make you sway to the rhythm of the music. The series of concerts will be held every day at 12:30 p.m. from June 18 to 21.

A legacy of music therapy at the JGH

For over two decades, the JGH Jazz Festival has embodied the deep connection between music and well-being, reflecting “the deep connection between creative art and healing,” according to Samuel Minevich, JGH Music Therapist and festival organizer.

A gift to the community

The event, made possible with the generous support of the JGH Foundation, enables all members of the public to share in a unique musical experience. “We want to use the healing power of music to  bring people together and create a sense of unity,” says Marko Obradovic, Chief of Volunteer Services and co-organizer of the festival.
